The Founders

Ronda Bergman

Ronda Bergman

Co-Founder, Director of Sponsorship

Ronda went back to college unsure of what she wanted to do, took an introductory programming class as an elective, and found her calling! She got her degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and has spent more than 20 years working as a developer. As one of the Co-Founders of tech[inclusive], Ronda gets to spend her free time helping other women achieve their technology goals and build confidence in their careers and their everyday lives. Ronda is the Director of Engineering at Genomenon in Ann Arbor.
Emily Drier

Emily Drier

Co-Founder, Director of Operations, Board President

Em began her professional career in the education field. Thanks to self-learning, hard work, and accessible community resources, she was able to make the switch into tech and is now a Senior Program Manager for MCG Health. Em is passionate about providing those accessible resources to others looking to advance their tech careers. When the laptop is closed, you can find her pursuing a balance of the Force and spending time with her family.

Megan Boczar

Megan Boczar

Co-Founder, Director of Learning

Megan has been a software developer since way back in November 2017. She worked a ton of customer service and admin jobs before finally jumping into a boot camp at Grand Circus in Detroit. Megan currently works as a Salesforce Developer at Pluralsight and is passionate about doing her part to create total equality in the tech world. When she’s not coding, Megan enjoys playing board games and attempting to read one book per week while snuggling her cat, Millie. Megan loves all manner of nerdy things Star Wars to Buffy to Dungeons and Dragons.

Chelsea has always been passionate about technology. Her career began in Web Development before moving into Human Resources within the tech community. She currently works as People Operations Specialist for NYC tech start-up, H1. Chelsea utilizes her HR degree to ensure our events and projects run effortlessly.

Cole Bednarski

Cole Bednarski

Marketing Manager

Cole Bednarski is an experienced digital marketer specializing in SEO, social media, and content marketing with a passion for helping small businesses grow. She is an Ann Arbor native, now residing on the Westside with her partner, John, and 7-year-old son. But Cole’s digital life is just a job. Away from the computer screen, you’ll find her in the vegetable garden or with her chickens.
Dana Fix

Lead Event Organizer

Dana Fix began her career as a software engineer and currently works as a Senior Business Analyst at Thomson Reuters. Combining a passion for software development and project management, Dana is able to bring a unique perspective to both of these areas. Outside of work, you can find her working on her Etsy store and spending time with friends and family.
Jaq Olson

Jaq Olson

Event Organizer

Jaq is a front-end web developer with an interest in user experience and accessibility and a co-founder of Bloom in Tech. Their passion is working to make the field of technology a more inclusive and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds. They used to be a professional cook and still does a bit of cooking at home when the mood strikes. Jaq enjoys learning new languages, new instruments, and new sword fighting techniques.

Board Member

Julie has played various roles in the web development industry for over a decade and is currently working remotely in Ypsilanti, Michigan, as Director of Engineering for the e-learning solution provider, Articulate. Throughout her career, she’s been a proponent for frontend development best practices, an advocate for women in tech (and life), and a champion for work-life balance and general well-being. She’s a yogi, a foodie, a beer & wine consumer, a pet lover, a Beyoncé fan, a budding homesteader, and an aspiring wild woman.
Ronald Daugherty

Board Member

Ronald Daugherty is a forward-thinking Android Developer with more than five years of experience building, testing, integrating, and supporting applications for mobile tablets devices on the Android platform. As a person who transitioned into a tech career later in life, Ronald is a strong believer in everyone having a place in the tech boom. Ronald enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found on the basketball court playing in a 35+ league.

Meg is a queer UX Designer & Researcher. They are passionate about accessibility for all, and the morality behind software and tech design. When they are not on the clock, you can find them snuggling with their cats, playing video games, or maybe even fencing.

Stefanie is the founder of S. Mitchell Marketing, an agency specializing in digital marketing, serving a diverse client base across various industries. Stefanie is passionate about serving her community and making spaces, like tech, accessible for all people.
